My name is Durrell Hunter; I’m 34 and have been drawing since I could remember. I’m inspired by almost everything around me from people to landscapes. I’ve been aiming to become a well-known professional fine artist. Being Shinnecock Native American, I also feel it’s my duty to leave a footprint of my tribal members and tribal land in my art for others to enjoy. I consider myself a contemporary artist that also loves realism and abstract. Then I like to blend all of that together to consider it a piece.
