Title
"A Threat is Coming"
Description
Artist Statement:
"This piece was created while thinking about the change Native Americans faced in the past. Dyashua Sylvester is the Shinneckock tribal member in this piece. As she glances out over the water that her people hunt and live by, she notices a ship coming. Not knowing the ships brought new culture, religion, and way of life that would forever change their land."
